Trading Conditions and Platforms
IC Trading offers two main account types: Standard, Raw Spread. The Standard account is ideal for beginners due to commission-free trading, while the Raw Spread account, with spreads starting at 0.0 pips and low fixed commissions, is tailored for scalpers and professional traders.
Supported platforms include MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, and cTrader, all known for their robust tools and flexibility, allowing for advanced charting, automated trading strategies through Expert Advisors (EAs), and cBots.
Regulation and Security
One of the most significant changes following the rebranding is the shift to FSC regulation in Mauritius, which might be seen as less stringent compared to previous ASIC regulation. Although FSC allows higher leverage and greater flexibility, it doesn’t offer the same level of investor protection as European or Australian regulators.

While IC Trading’s customer support is available, it has been noted to have issues with response speed and availability. Additionally, their educational resources are limited, which could be a disadvantage for beginners looking for trading support and education.

IC Trading’s attractive trading conditions, including low costs and fast execution, make it an interesting option for experienced traders. However, the weaker regulatory framework and limited support services are important considerations. Ongoing research into the broker’s reliability and long-term benefits will continue to provide a comprehensive view.
Personal Perspective
One of the main reasons I chose IC Trading is due to its regulation outside of the EU, which allowed me to trade under conditions that I find more realistic and favorable, particularly with respect to higher leverage and lower trading costs. However, I must emphasize that this is a personal decision, and I do not encourage others to follow the same path without conducting their own thorough research.
